Tarot & Oracle Guidance

Tarot is an ancient tool of divination that started as a card game in the 1400's and aids us in seeing the energies in play within and around us as we come into contact with our higher selves. While many look to the cards for guidance, Tarot is not fortune telling but rather a way to better understand the choices we have in navigating our lives. Decks are made up of Major and Minor Arcana cards, representing the different values and influences in our lives. Psychologist Carl Jung believed that along with the  repeatable cause-and-effect relationships on which the scientific world is so strongly based, there is also another connecting principle that does not share that cause-and-effect relationship: synchronicity. Much like reading daily devotionals or religious texts for guidance and inspiration, the guiding forces in the Universe work with us during a Tarot reading, helping us to tap into our unconscious or subconscious awareness to reveal what is already there within us.
